Un peu d'histoire
The Villa (later Hôtel) des Victoires was built in 1897 by the renowned architect Antoine Percilly (1858-1928) for Dr. Rambert, based on an old house in Vieux Vichy.
It is a remarkable example of thermal architecture, classified as exceptional building within the Remarkable Heritage Site (SPR).
The Hôtel des Victoires plaque, restored with gold lettering, bears witness to the building’s rich history. Once a villa, then a hotel-restaurant, and later a family boarding house, it is now an exceptional furnished residence, continuing the tradition of hospitality and leisure of this magnificent Vichy home.
Its classical-style façade, unique in its details and lines, its slate roof with a tower adorned with an oculus and finial, its zinc-clad terrace, and its majestic door invite visitors to step inside. The carefully renovated interior seamlessly blends the charm of the past with modern comfort, ensuring a most enjoyable stay.
